The P. Columbia is a terrestrial philodendron, meaning it crawls along the ground, as opposed to up towards the canopy. This growth habit allows the plant to size its leaves up massively without upward support, which is great news for collectors.
This plant is native to the rainforests of South America where it thrives and attains massive size. There is not much conclusive research on this plant currently.
Bright indirect light, allow soil to dry between watering (allowing to dry a little more during the winter months between thorough watering). Be sure this plant (and all philodendron) is able to drain fully after watering to avoid root rot. Standing water is bad news for these gorgeous plants.
