5" Alocasia Golden Bone

This alocasia variety has gorgeous metallic gold and pinkish hues in its sheen! An Indonesian hybrid introduced to the plant trade in 2006. It is reported that this species is a natural hybrid, but this widely disputed as the supposed parent plants are not local to the same region.  

Bright indirect light, keep soil moist but never soggy. You don't want your alocasia to completely dry out, but it won't be happy with wet feet (letting it stand in water) so make sure it drains completely when watered. Must have high humidity, can be prone to spider mites in dry conditions.
