3.5 Philodendron Red Emerald

This stunning philodendron has red stems and petioles, and green leaves! A collector's classic. Grow this one on a moss pole or stake, to upsize the leaves. 

Philodendron Red Emerald is a cultivar of P.erubescens, which tends to produce hardy varieties. 

Bright indirect light, allow soil to dry between watering (allowing to dry a little more during the winter months between thorough watering). Be sure this plant (and all philodendron) is able to drain fully after watering to avoid root rot. Standing water is bad news for these gorgeous plants.
