What the provincewide shutdown means for our shop.

Hello, plant lovers! Let's dive right into what Ontario's provincewide shutdown means for us here at Plant Goals.

Under the new shutdown measures we will be allowing only one shopper inside at a time.

Previously we invited households in, but under the tighter restrictions, our capacity is truly only one person at a time.

If you are a parent or guardian, we understand that children may need to come with you and this is fine -- same goes for other required caregivers, as always.

This is a bummer, for sure, but we are grateful to still be allowed to have our doors open and keep our staff employed, so we're rolling with it.

Thank you for your kindness and patience with our staff in respecting these guidelines.

We also ask that customers be mindful of their time inside as there is only so much space for folks to line up outside and we don't want to interfere with our neighbours on Water Street.

We will continue our strict regime of sanitizing and disinfecting inside the shop and our screening process for all staff members and we thank our customers for staying home if they are experiencing any symptoms.

Remember that we also offer zero-contact delivery for those who would like to take advantage of that option. Our Delivery Zones range from Peterborough, through Kawartha Lakes and Northumberland. Click here to check our map.

We will also continue to limit our in-store pickup spaces to 2 appointments per 30 minutes to help keep our line moving.

While this is a frustrating time for so many -- our hearts ache for our friends in the restaurant industry who have been working tirelessly to offer indoor and outdoor dining, only to have that taken away -- we know that this community is truly incredible and dedicated to keeping local alive.

Thanks for your support, friends!

Mask up, sanitize, stay safe, and we'll all get through this together.
